I. A Celebrant's Farewell

As the final end approaches, the quietly lonely undertaker makes their last preparations. Accompanied by fellow church associate XIII and a porcelain companion of sorts, Gnothaire reluctantly sets the stage for a small gathering of would-be allies. With doubt in the skeptic's heart, they send a foolish messenger to gather the last drops of human blood they can find.

"I'll hold a night-long celebration- to invite the tortured and long lived, the unseeable horrors and the most bloodthirsty vampires. Those who are most like me...

If you're out there, heed this swanlike call. Share with me one last night before even the sun perishes away."

II. The Final Hour

Strangers of every kind gather to spend these sparse moments of freedom like an eager child's last quarter. Even the fangless ones make merry without fear of harm or judgement. Weaving between the crowd of beautifully adorned guests, the celebrant is reluctant to close the eyes of this suddenly vibrant heavenplace.

The vampires of the world disappear into the daylight, burned away by the morning sun and leaving behind a hedonistic wreckage. Empty goblets of blood and oodles of biodegradeable white confetti decorate what remains of the dancefloor.

Melodie and Gnothaire are all that remain in the blinding light of reality, but soon even dolls must retire to their resting place...

III. Down The Worm Hole

Touched by mere hours of idle chatter and repartee, Gnothaire dwells on the brave few beings who came together and celebrated so heartily the end of all things. The once unmoveable death god awakens their trickster companion Melodie from her deathless slumber and resolves to undo this night before the dust settles.

With a preternatural sleight of hand, they had already 'borrowed' something while the crowd's gaze were fixated upon the joyous Hell Bunnies. A sacred timepiece from a powerful trinket-maker within the church, capable of rewinding the pain of losing those they have grown fond of.

However, meddling with the laws of the natural universe brings about its own share of troubles. In this freshly torn asunder world, all is not as it seems.
